Garage doors are held in place by hinges and rollers that are on a vertical and horizontal track on each end of the door that will guide the door up and down. Crashed doors can occur for several reasons, such as a worn out torsion cable that went unseen and eventually snapped, an object that obstructed the door and caused it to fall off track, poor aliment, bowing panels, ect.
